Cintar Inc.’s Structural Engineering Department provides services that includes design, investigation, inspection, evaluation, alteration and rehabilitation of structures. In addition to new structure designs, our firm is a leader in the restoration and rehabilitation of structures. The cornerstone of our firm’s work is high quality, technically demanding projects for clients.
Through our engineering, consultation, construction support and related activities, we have gained recognition both domestically and internationally. Cintar has provided international Structural services including many projects in China, Mexico, South America, Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and Canada. In addition, we are familiar with many international codes and international steel shapes and sizes.
Most of our Structural designs are done using 3D and Finite Element software including STAAD, Enercalc and PC Mats. We can also provide a total CADD design environment to include AutoCAD, Inventor and Plant-3D.

Cintar’s portfolio of Large Structure designs include Iron & Coal Loadouts, Lime Calcining Preheat Structures, Bins & Silos, Buildings, and various others projects.
Modular Structures include those that house/enclose equipment, piping and electrical systems. They are assembled structures that move by cranes from the fabrication shop to trucks, rail cars, barges, etc. Modular Structures must endure the pounding of transportation conditions including ocean voyages. Special design considerations are necessary, and they include developing the center of gravity, engineering of lifting lugs and designing special reinforcing for handling, lifting and moving. In addition, some Modular Structure must meet high seismic conditions at their final installation site.
Cintar’s structural engineering department has provided many, many small and large tasks for our Wastewater Treatment clients. A small list of commonly contracted designs include base plates, pipe racks, and supports for piping, cable trays, tanks and equipment.
